SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING THE JUNGO PACKAGE "JPKG" The "jpkg.tar.gz" package is used when building any one of the Actiontec MI424WR products. The reason for this document is that some of the older READMEs refer to simply the "jpkg" file, and do not reference the entire package. There is no harm in this except that there is the possibility that an individual that is unfamiliar with extracting the contents of a "tar.gz" file may get confused downloading a file named "jpkg.tar.gz", when the instructions call for a file named just "jpkg". All that is necessary if you find yourself in this situation is to extract the contents of the "jpkg.tar.gz" file so it can be used. To extract the contents, run the following command: [user@PC_Name Downloads]$ tar zxvf jpkg.tar.gz Explanation of the above command: User - The name of the login on the PC PC_Name - The Host name or PC name Downloads - The name of the folder or directory where prompt is located NOTE: The prompt should be located in the same directory or folder as the "jpkg.tar.gz" package for the command to run successfully. After the command has run there will be a new file in the folder, it will be the file you need, "jpkg". At this point you should just follow the instructions for building the code you are interested in.
